Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer (Python) to join a Product team where AI is part of the daily execution layer and engineers bring the judgment, ownership, and technical leadership needed to make strong product and architecture decisions.This is a senior hands-on role for someone who can identify the real problem, challenge assumptions, make technical decisions, and execute end-to-end without constant supervision.Must-have requirements:5+ years of strong, hands-on Python experience in production environmentsProduction experience with FastAPI and MongoDBStrong experience with Docker, Cloud environments, and production observabilityDaily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar as an execution layer — not only occasional assistanceHands-on experience designing and evaluating AI Agents, RAG, and Function CallingExperience creating/documenting AI development workflows using Skills, MCPs, agents.md, or similar approachesProven experience making architecture decisions and maintaining those solutions in productionStrong end-to-end ownership: understand the problem, define/specify the solution, execute, validate, and communicate resultsAbility to mentor engineers and act as a technical reference for the teamStrong proactivity, critical thinking, and autonomyEnglish B2 or higher⭐ Strong pluses:Experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) or similar methodologiesBackground in banking or regulated fintech environments (BCU, BCRA, AML, Compliance)Experience designing multi-tenant or large-scale systemsImportant: This opportunity is 100% remote, but we can only consider candidates from Argentina or Uruguay who are currently residing in Argentina or Uruguay.We’re looking for engineers with solid, recent Python experience and real production ownership.
