Job Title: Bilingual Remote Tax Administrative Assistant Work Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours/week, CST. Location: Remote Pay: $8–$10/hr USD Overview Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional fluent in English and Spanish looking to launch a long-term career in public accounting? Join a dynamic, fast-growing CPA firm dedicated to providing top-tier tax, accounting, and advisory solutions to a diverse client base. In an entry-level, fully remote role, you will serve as a primary client touchpoint and keep the firm's tax-preparation pipeline running smoothly during peak tax season. Outside of tax season, your role will evolve to include key administrative duties alongside structured hands-on training in bookkeeping. This position is built as a true career pathway, offering structured growth into advanced accounting and tax professional roles. Key Responsibilities – Answer client phone calls and emails in English and Spanish, and assist them with portals and e-signatures. – Keep the tax workflow updated in Drake Tax and send daily pipeline reports to management. – Track tax deadlines, extensions, Texas franchise tax reports, and e-file status notices. – Process faxes and mail, save IRS and state notices to client files, and flag urgent messages. – Help the bookkeeping team in QuickBooks Online with documents, simple data entry, and basic account reconciliations. Must-Have Requirements – Native or fluent spoken and written Spanish, combined with clear, professional spoken English skills for client telephone interactions. – Exceptional customer-service, organizational, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills with rigorous attention to detail. – Strict commitment to maintaining financial confidentiality, meeting critical deadlines, and adhering to established CST schedules. Nice-to-Have Requirements – Previous work experience within a CPA firm, tax preparation office, or professional services firm. – Experience with industry tools such as Drake Tax, Canopy, QuickBooks Online, or digital workflow applications. – Background in tracking tax extensions, handling workflow pipelines, or processing e-filings. Why Join Us This role is more than an entry-level job—it is a launching pad into public accounting. We provide comprehensive training from day one, meaning prior CPA firm experience isn't required if you bring a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn. Top-performing candidates have a direct internal career path to advance into full-time Bookkeeper, Junior Tax Professional, or Client Accounting Services roles as they build their skills.
