Requirements and responsibilities

Position: Agency Sales Manager (Agency Channel General Insurance). Channel: Agency. Education: Graduate. Experience: 2 to 4 years. Location: Odisha (Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bolangir, Balasore, Bhadrak, Rourkela). Preferred Candidates: Local candidates with prior experience in the General Insurance Agency Channel. Role Purpose: - This role is responsible for driving Agency Channel sales by managing and developing the agent network. - It includes agent recruitment, planning, training, and achieving sales targets through effective execution of product strategies. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business targets. - Expand into new markets and support marketing initiatives. - Monitor agent performance and improve sales productivity. Agent Recruitment: - Recruit and onboard agents in the General Insurance segment. - Build and maintain strong agent relationships to drive business. Training & Development: - Conduct regular training programs on products and processes. - Ensure compliant and effective selling practices. MIS & Team Management: - Maintain accurate MIS (sales, proposals, pricing, expenses). - Manage agent performance and ensure target achievement. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
