About the Role: We are a multi-entity small business group based in Northeast Ohio operating in residential/commercial cleaning, construction, roofing, and real estate. We need a detail-oriented bookkeeper to own monthly transaction reconciliation across our accounts. This is a recurring, low-drama role with a predictable scope — ideal for a freelancer who wants a steady monthly anchor client. What You Will Do: - Reconcile all bank and credit card transactions monthly. - Categorize transactions correctly across multiple business entities. - Flag discrepancies and communicate them clearly. - Deliver a clean reconciliation report by an agreed monthly deadline. - Coordinate lightly with the owner (async-friendly). What We Use: - QuickBooks Online (preferred) or willing to work with our current stack. - Communication via text/email. Who You Are: - Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally with small businesses or trades/construction. - Comfortable working across multiple entities or accounts. - Reliable, deadline-driven, and responsive. - US-based preferred (familiar with US tax categories and reporting norms). - QuickBooks Online certified is a plus. Ideal Background: Experience with any of the following is a bonus: - Service businesses (cleaning, contracting, trades). - Real estate or rental property owners. - Multi-entity LLC structures.
