We work closely with startups, founders, and emerging brands to develop clear marketing strategies, fundraising roadmaps, growth initiatives, and campaign direction designed to help businesses gain momentum, attract more customers, strengthen brand positioning, and scale more effectively. Our services include marketing strategy decks, fundraising strategy decks, consulting, user acquisition strategy, messaging, growth planning, and overall campaign strategy support. A large portion of our experience has been within the equity crowdfunding space, where we have worked with founders and emerging companies on fundraising strategy, investor-facing positioning, campaign direction, and growth planning. About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Representative / Closer to join our growing team. This is a fully remote, performance-based role focused on outbound prospecting, relationship-building, and closing high-ticket marketing and consulting deals. This is not an appointment-setting or virtual assistant role. Candidates should be comfortable sourcing their own leads, building relationships with business owners/founders, and managing the sales process from outreach through close. This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, self-motivated, highly proactive, and genuinely passionate about sales and business development. Key Responsibilities: - Source and prospect new business opportunities through outbound outreach. - Build and maintain relationships with founders, startups, and business owners. - Conduct discovery conversations and sales calls with prospective clients. - Present and communicate the value of our strategy and consulting services. - Manage and maintain your own sales pipeline. - Follow up consistently with leads and prospects. - Collaborate closely with leadership regarding sales strategy and opportunities. - Represent the agency professionally in founder-facing/client-facing conversations. Requirements: - Must have prior experience with outbound sales and business development. - Must have experience selling marketing-related services or solutions. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Comfortable speaking with founders, executives, and business owners. - Ability to manage your own pipeline and work independently. - Strong organizational and follow-up skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter mentality. - Ability to work remotely and manage your own schedule effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - Background in marketing sales, advertising sales, agency sales, or consulting sales. - Experience selling high-ticket services. - Familiarity with startups, fundraising, venture capital, or equity crowdfunding is a major plus. - Experience within the equity crowdfunding or fundraising space is highly preferred. Compensation: This is a commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. - Compensation starts at 20% commission. - Strong performers who consistently close deals may have the opportunity to move up to a 25% commission structure. - Additional performance-based bonuses available. Strong closers can realistically earn substantial monthly income due to the high-ticket nature of the services. For the first phase of the role, representatives will be responsible for sourcing and closing their own opportunities. Once representatives consistently close approximately 3-4 deals and demonstrate strong performance, they may have the opportunity to begin working inbound leads generated through future marketing and advertising initiatives. Location: - Remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred. Exceptional candidates from Canada may also be considered.)
