Join Natera to design and build the Voice AI platform handling thousands of patient calls daily—from automated test status and identity verification to intelligent routing. This role combines software engineering with conversational AI, real-time audio, and LLM-powered agentic systems to improve patient access to genetic testing results.Lead voice AI features through full SDLC, optimizing voice pipelines (VAD, turn-taking, latency)Architect and implement multi-agent orchestration with tool calling, handoffs, and state managementIntegrate STT, TTS, and LLM APIs (Deepgram, OpenAI, ElevenLabs) into end-to-end audio flowsBuild real-time WebSocket audio streaming with Twilio media streams and AWS servicesDevelop automated testing for conversational systems (simulated calls, transcript validation)Monitor voice pipeline health with Datadog, focusing on call efficacy and latency benchmarks
