Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a Sr. Incident Commander to join the Microsoft Security team.You will sit on a team of eight Incident Commanders in which you will be responsible for leading high-severity security incidents across Microsoft and its subsidiaries, including GitHub, LinkedIn, and various gaming studios.In this role you will also lead calls during cross-company or high-severity incidents, sometimes with over 100 participants.Please note that you will be expected to work on-call weeks (once every six weeks) including weekends and holidays, reflecting the demanding and high-tempo nature of the role.This team also offers at least six different leadership roles for those interested in advancing this environment is conducive to promotions and career growth. In addition to incident response, the team is involved in projects focused on AI, such as building new tools and processes that incorporate LLMs to improve efficiency and productivity.Please note: you must be a U.S. Citizen in order to be considered.
