Requirements and responsibilities

About the Role: - We are hiring a Safety Orientation Specialist to onboard and prepare new truck drivers before they begin operations. - You will play a key role in ensuring drivers understand safety procedures, compliance standards, and company expectations, helping them start confidently and safely. What You Will Do: - Conduct safety orientations for newly onboarded drivers. - Train drivers on company safety policies and expectations. - Provide guidance on ELD systems and usage. - Educate drivers on FMCSA regulations and compliance. - Instruct on pre-trip and post-trip inspections. - Prepare drivers for DOT inspections. - Explain procedures for accidents and emergencies. - Answer questions and support drivers before dispatch. Required Skills: - Driver safety training. - Communication and presentation. - Knowledge of FMCSA regulations. - ELD systems. What We Are Looking For: - Experience in trucking, safety, or dispatch. - Strong communication and training ability. - Detail-oriented and organized. - Comfortable leading onboarding sessions. - Fluent in English. Compensation: - $1,200/month (depending on experience, with growth potential). Schedule: - Monday – Friday. - 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Location: - On-site – Rockdale, Illinois (U.S.).
