We translate science into modern, high-retention content — without wellness clichés, without new-age ambiguity, and without generic motivational language. We are a U.S.-based company, operating at American startup speed. That means fast execution, clear ownership, and measurable results. Ideas matter, but execution, timing, and accountability matter more. The Role We are hiring a Senior Social Content Creator to execute high-performing content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, primarily in English. This is a senior individual contributor role, focused on hands-on execution. It is designed for someone who wants to master short-form execution, copywriting, and performance mechanics at a high level. Leadership is not required at this stage. Growth in scope, influence, and creative ownership is driven by performance and impact over time. Level of Autonomy & Ownership This role operates with high autonomy within clearly defined brand and strategic guardrails. You are expected to manage your execution independently. Day-to-day work does not require constant approval. Progress is evaluated through weekly KPIs and output, not supervision. This role is for self-directed executors who take ownership of results without needing reminders, follow-ups, or micromanagement. Working Relationship You will work closely with the Marketing & Brand Strategy function, which defines: * Narrative direction. * Strategic priorities. * Brand guardrails. Your responsibility is to: * Translate that direction into high-performing execution. * Operate proactively within priorities. * Provide performance-informed insights based on real data. This is a results-driven, low-ego, high-accountability collaboration. Core Responsibilities 1. Short-Form Video Scripts (Primary Responsibility) * Write short-form scripts optimized for retention (15s / 30s / 45–60s). * Develop multiple hook variations per concept. * Write time-aware on-screen text (what appears, when, and why). * Structure scripts using: * Pattern interruption. * Curiosity gaps. * Emotional contrast. * Pacing and micro-payoffs. 2. Social Copywriting * Write platform-specific captions designed for saves, shares, and meaningful engagement. * Write carousel copy (slide-by-slide) that educates without sounding educational. * Create story sequences (frame-by-frame) for interaction and conversion. * Maintain a premium, clear, evidence-led tone aligned with VAU. 3. Creative Packaging for Production * Deliver complete, execution-ready content packages for editors and designers. * Each package includes: * Final script and hook variations. * On-screen text. * Pacing and rhythm notes. * Shot and b-roll suggestions. * Audio direction (mood, tempo, references). * CTA intent (comment, save, share, click). * Standard: if production needs clarification, the package is incomplete. 4. Creative Quality Review (Pre-Publication) * Review edited videos to ensure: * Hook effectiveness. * Correct pacing. * On-screen text accuracy. * Proper pattern interruptions. * Clear CTA execution. * Provide concise, actionable feedback. * This is creative and performance validation, not technical editing. 5. Performance Review & Iteration * Analyze content performance weekly. * Identify drop-off points and execution gaps. * Propose and execute improvements without waiting for direction. * Maintain internal libraries of: * Winning hooks. * Scalable formats. * Patterns to avoid. 6. Research Applied to Output * Translate science and complex topics into compelling content angles. * Study high-performing content to understand why it works. * Build and maintain a swipe file that feeds daily execution. * This is execution-driven research, not academic analysis. Execution Rhythm & Expectations We operate in fast execution cycles, with: * Weekly planning. * Continuous testing. * Rapid iteration. This role requires: * Speed. * Decisiveness. * Comfort with feedback. * Ability to adjust quickly based on performance. Weekly KPIs & Output Expectations Performance is reviewed weekly based on clear, objective KPIs, including: * Volume and quality of delivered scripts and assets. * Retention and watch-time trends. * Saves and shares per reach. * Quality of engagement (not vanity metrics). * Consistency of output versus agreed plan. You are expected to: * Track your own results. * Surface insights proactively. * Propose next actions without being prompted. What This Role Is Intentionally NOT * Not community management. * Not posting or scheduling. * Not customer support. * Not brand strategy ownership. * Not people management. This focus exists to protect depth, speed, and creative performance. Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Language * Native or near-native English writing. * Fully bilingual English–Spanish. Skills & Judgment * Proven experience creating high-performing short-form content. * Exceptional short-form writing and copywriting skills. * Strong judgment and independent decision-making ability. * Deep practical understanding of attention and retention mechanics. * Ability to execute at speed without sacrificing quality. Preferred (Not Required) * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Psychology, Film, or related fields. * Experience in DTC, wellness, education, or science-based content.
