About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Statistician to join our Health Economics and HTA Consulting team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic statistical input into the generation of healthcare evidence by incorporating state-of-the-art methodologies into the resolution of complex client challenges. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality analyses for pharmaceutical clients, with a particular focus on network meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparisons, and advanced statistical modelling in support of HTA submissions.ResponsibilitiesLead HEOR projects involving advanced statistical analysis, modelling, and reportingConduct Network Meta-Analyses (NMA) and Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITC), including MAIC and STC methodologiesPerform survival analysis, IPD analyses, and other statistical techniques to support HTA and market access strategiesProvide strategic statistical guidance and recommend best-practice analytical approaches for client projectsCollaborate with project leaders on study design, proposal development, and statistical planningMentor junior team members and support the growth of statistical consulting capabilitiesRequirementsMSc or PhD in Medical Statistics, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field5–7 years of experience in statistics, including work with large clinical trial and real-world datasetsProven experience in Network Meta-Analyses (NMA), Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITC), MAIC, STC, and IPD analyses for pharmaceutical projectsStrong proficiency in statistical software such as R, WinBUGS, STATA, or SASGood understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, HTA, and market access evidence generationStrong client communication skills with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearlyAbility to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced consulting environmentPreferredExperience working in a consultancy environment — HEOR, market access, or health economics consulting background strongly preferred.Prior involvement in HTA submissions to bodies such as NICE, CADTH, HAS, G-BA, or similar payer agencies.Experience contributing to the statistical sections of HTA dossiers, global value dossiers, or market access documents.Familiarity with systematic literature review (SLR) processes and their interface with evidence synthesis and NMA.Ability to contribute to business development activities including client presentations, networking, and proposal writing.How to Apply:If interested, please share your updated resume to havila.kayithi@digitalbackoffice.co.uk along with your relevant experience.
