Project Overview: - We are looking for native or fluent Norwegian speakers to participate in a multilingual audio recording project. - This project involves recording natural conversations between two speakers (Agent & Customer) using Norwegian + English code-switching. - The recordings will be used to improve AI systems that understand real-life multilingual conversations. - Create a 10-minute natural conversation. - Roles: 1 Agent, 1 Customer. - Language usage: 70% Norwegian (Main Language), 30% English (Secondary Language). - The conversation should feel like a real call center interaction. Recording Requirements: - Format: WAV (High Quality only, NO MP3). - Audio must be clear (no background noise). - Audio must be natural (no robotic reading). - Recording options: 1 dual-channel file OR 2 separate files: Agent (Channel 1), Customer (Channel 2). Technical Specifications: - Sample Rate: 8 kHz OR 16 kHz. - Noise Level: Very Low. - No overlapping speech (each speaker clear & separate). How to Record: - Read and understand the script. - Sit in a quiet environment. - Connect with second speaker (call/meeting). - Start recording simultaneously. - Speak naturally as per roles. - Complete ~10-minute conversation. - Save in required format. - Perform quality check. Important Do's & Don'ts: - Do speak naturally like real conversation. - Do use proper emotions (if required). - Do maintain realistic pauses. - Don't have background noise. - Don't have robotic/script reading. - Don't say "Agent" or "Customer" in recording. - Don't have off-topic discussion. Submission Requirements: - You must submit WAV audio file(s). - You must submit a Metadata file (Speaker ID, duration, etc.). File Naming Format: - [Norwegian-English][Domain][SampleRate]_[ConvID].wav. Speaker Limit: - Max 30 minutes per speaker. - Approx 5–6 conversations per person.
