Requirements and responsibilities


At Ideaware we're looking for an operational, tech-leaning Delivery Lead who owns the day-to-day of this project: sprint planning, team coordination and progress tracking, unblocking the build team, and making sure work ships. You're the bridge between client and delivery team, translating business needs into clear direction for design and engineering, managing stakeholders with confidence, and keeping the engine running. You'll be supported by a client-facing strategic leadership team in NY, with this role being hands-on and execution-focused. Deep Agile expertise, cross-functional team experience (10+ people), strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to bridge client intent and technical delivery. Comfortable with PMO tooling and reporting standards. Experience in a gaming context is a major plus.ResponsibilitiesChampion Lean and Agile ways of working, leading the team in standing up the most productive processes for the task at hand. We are not looking for tick-box Agile scrum mastering, but rather someone taking a considered and pragmatic approach informed by effective, modern software development practices.Design and facilitate workshops and ceremonies that provide direction and rally the team around a plan.Foster strong team dynamics, coaching the team and individuals to collaborate effectively and work through conflict.Own the full PMO remit: governance, team logistics, resource tracking, budget and burn reporting, RAID logs, and senior stakeholder communication.Gather, unpack and document product requirements, translating client needs into well-defined briefs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can act on.Navigate trade-offs and drive prioritisation conversations, keeping decisions grounded in scope, effort and feasibility within given parameters.Bring empathy to the client relationships and clarity to commercial conversations, setting expectations continuously and surfacing risks and mitigations early.Qualifications8+ years of experience in delivery, project, or program management within digital/tech environmentsProven experience leading cross-functional teams (design, engineering, product)Strong Agile expertise with a practical, delivery-focused approachExperience managing end-to-end delivery, from planning through execution and launchProven stakeholder management skills, including direct client interactionEnglish proficiency B2 or higherWhat's in It for YouFully remote — work from anywhereBenefits — PTO and other perks depending on the clientWork with US-based companies building exciting, impactful productsJoin collaborative, high-performance teams that value your input and expertiseIf you’re a Delivery Lead who thrives on solving complex challenges, delivering elegant solutions, and working with talented teams around the world, we’d love to hear from you.
