Are you a developer who wants to use your coding skills for global impact? Virufy is looking for a creative and mission-driven Website Developer to help us build the future of AI-driven healthcare and redesign our global digital platform! 💻🌍Born out of the Stanford University COVID-19 Response Innovation Lab, Virufy is a nonprofit research consortium of volunteers from 25+ countries. We are developing a smartphone app for the detection of COVID-19 to provide widespread, accessible, and free testing for everyone. 🧬What You’ll Do:Build and maintain the virufy.org website, serving audiences from 10+ countries.Build and manage our website platform on GitHub pages, ensuring it meets strict quality standards.Transform high-fidelity Figma prototype designs from our UI/UX team into interactive, clean code.Optimize platform performance and ensure high-quality web experiences for hundreds of millions of potential users.Collaborate with our global engineering team in a fast-paced environment.Who You Are:Proven work experience as a Website Developer.Proficient in React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git/GitHub.An analytical thinker with a great problem-solving attitude and an eye for detail.Able to perform well in a team environment and collaborate effectively in a North American timezone.Bonus: Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or other languages in addition to English is a plus!Why Join Virufy?Portfolio: Gain real-world experience shipping code for a global platform seen by millions.Network: Work alongside One Young World ambassadors and world-class researchers from Berkeley, Stanford, and Cornell.Flexibility: 100% Remote | Flexible terms: 10-20 hours/week for 2-3 weeks OR 5-10 hours/week over 3 months.
