Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM program.
Minimum 1 year of applicable experience.
Responsibilities:
* Commanding knowledge of Unix-based operating systems such as Linux, FreeBSD, etc.
* Hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and/or operation of network equipment from manufacturers like Cisco or Juniper.
* Proven experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM, as well as deployment of OpenStack and automation tools like Ansible.
* Familiarity with cloud architecture (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.), containerization and orchestration tools and concepts including Kubernetes, Swarm, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
* Proven experience with virtualization concepts such as NUMA, SR-IOV, PCI-Passthrough, and Virtio.
* Strong understanding of NFV, particularly around MANO/ONAP.
* Excellent technical background with deep knowledge of networking, specifically IP-related technologies.
* Experience in Quality Assurance testing.
* Thorough understanding of end-to-end network call flows and relevant technologies and protocols including DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, GRE, SIP, RTP, MGCP, H.323, and RTCP.
* Good understanding of billing and charging concepts and experience with Online Charging and Policy Enforcement (OCS, PCRF, PCEF).
* Solid experience in the data communication industry across various operator networks, including Wireline (Cable, DSL, FTTH) and/or Wireless (Satellite, Wi-Fi, LTE, GPRS-3G, CDMA-3G, WiMAX, GSM, UMTS, 4G, and 5G).
* Proficient in packet-level debugging using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, tcpreplay, or similar.
