Position Overview: We’re looking for a Head of Paid Media to lead the agency’s paid media department. This role combines high-level strategy, client communication, and team leadership. You’ll oversee a team of media buyers, own the strategy across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube, and work closely with account managers and creative teams to ensure results that drive client success. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in performance-driven environments and can both guide and scale a high-performing digital advertising function. Key Responsibilities: Own and evolve the agency’s paid media strategy across all client accounts. Serve as a senior client contact for paid media, providing guidance, reporting, and strategic insight. Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 paid media specialists; support hiring, training, and performance development. Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and other key platforms. Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, creative teams, and analysts to build cohesive growth strategies. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to deliver clear reporting and actionable insights. Stay current on platform changes, industry trends, and new media opportunities. Qualifications: 6+ years of hands-on paid media experience, including strategy and execution. Strong client-facing communication skills; comfortable presenting performance insights to leadership-level stakeholders. Proven experience managing and developing small teams of media buyers or performance marketers. Expertise in major ad platforms: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads. Deep understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and paid media analytics (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.). Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Comfortable working PST hours, regardless of location. Proven track record handling large-scale budgets ($100K or higher) Nice-to-Haves: Experience in DTC or eCommerce agency environments. Familiarity with additional platforms like LinkedIn Ads or Microsoft Ads. Creative collaboration skills (briefing, asset feedback, funnel optimization).
