Position Overview: As a Healthcare Finance Specialist, you will serve as the backbone of financial operations for home care agencies. Many clients are clinical professionals who rely on a trusted partner to manage the business side of their practice. Your role is to ensure financial accuracy, proactive cash collection, and organized, reliable systems while continuously improving how finance operations are executed. Key Responsibilities: Full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management, ensuring timely payments and accurate records. Proactive collections and follow-ups on outstanding balances to minimize aging receivables. Regular bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain clean, reliable books. Ownership of financial data and workflows ensuring invoice statuses, notes, and client records are consistently updated. Support healthcare billing workflows, including AR follow-ups and escalation of claim denials when applicable. Prepare and maintain industry-specific financial reports to help agency owners understand cash flow and performance. Contribute to process improvements by documenting SOPs and suggesting incremental efficiencies in finance operations. Qualifications: Proven experience in AP/AR, billing, or finance operations. Background in US healthcare billing or home care finance, with familiarity navigating insurance payors (Medicare/Medicaid preferred). Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting. High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and clear communication skills. Experience or familiar with payroll. Nice-to-Haves: Hands-on experience resolving US insurance claim denials. Familiarity with home care software such as HHAeXchange or Carecenta. Prior experience supporting multiple clients or agencies simultaneously.
