This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety — from providing day-to-day tech support and managing cloud tools, to implementing security standards and optimizing system performance. If you’re a versatile problem-solver who loves making tech run smoothly, we’d love to meet you!What You’ll Be DoingAs an IT Generalist at Aventus, you’ll wear multiple hats to keep our systems, software, and people connected. You’ll be responsible for maintaining key tools, ensuring data security, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting onboarding for new team members. Your work will help drive operational efficiency and ensure every Aventus team member can perform at their best — from anywhere.Your Core ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & MaintenanceProvide timely IT support to remote agents and internal staff.Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.Manage the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstations and peripherals.Systems & Tools AdministrationManage core business platforms, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet), AWS, Slack, Monday.com, One Password, TorGuard VPN, and Hubstaff.Ensure all user access, permissions, and integrations are configured properly and securely.Maintain system updates, backups, and version controls to support smooth operations.Onboarding & Offboarding SupportFacilitate IT setup for new hires — accounts, devices, and access rights.Coordinate with HR and Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and secure offboarding.Keep onboarding documentation up to date with current processes and standards.Security & ComplianceEnsure that all systems and devices comply with company security policies.Manage VPN access, enforce strong authentication practices, and monitor system logs.Identify and mitigate potential security risks and escalate when needed.Process Improvement & DocumentationMaintain and enhance internal IT documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.Recommend improvements to existing workflows and technology practices.Support the rollout of new tools, software, and IT initiatives across the company.Client Platform SupportMonitor key client systems (e.g., Shopify, Zendesk, Gorgias) to ensure seamless agent access and functionality.Partner with operations to proactively resolve any technical interruptions affecting client support.What You’ll Bring to the Table2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related roles (BPO experience a plus).Strong technical understanding of Google Workspace, cloud tools, and VPN management.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Knowledge of network protocols, remote desktop tools, and cybersecurity best practices.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.Your Key Competencies and AttributesTech Savvy: Able to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.Service-Oriented: Delivers responsive, high-quality support with patience and professionalism.Analytical Mindset: Approaches issues methodically to identify root causes and long-term solutions.Detail-Driven: Ensures accuracy in configurations, documentation, and compliance.Proactive Partner: Collaborates cross-functionally to anticipate and solve technical challenges.What’s In It For You?100% Remote Work – Support teams from anywhere in the PhilippinesCareer Growth – Build your IT career in one of the fastest-growing BPOs in the U.S.Competitive Pay – $8 - $9/hour DOE + benefits as an independent contractorPaid Time Off – 7 days of PTO per year + paid holidays (100% extra pay if worked)Medical Aid Bonus – Monthly medical stipendSupportive Culture – Work with a collaborative and forward-thinking IT teamIf you’re ready to bring your technical expertise, versatility, and passion for problem-solving to Aventus, we’d love to have you on the team!
