Requirements and responsibilities

Remote | Part-Time | 30 hrs/week | $6.50/hour | Latin America Preferred We are hiring an experienced, empathetic, and reliable Medical Virtual Assistant to support a growing interventional psychiatry clinic in Los Angeles focused on TMS and Spravato treatment for depression. Key responsibilities: - Insurance eligibility and benefits verification. - Prior authorizations for TMS and Spravato. - Inbound/outbound patient calls and voicemail follow-up. - Patient scheduling and follow-ups. - EHR review for accuracy and billing support. - Weekly meeting notes and follow-up tasks. - Support with co-pays, deductibles, and SOP documentation. What we’re looking for: - Strong English communication with a warm, natural, patient-friendly tone. - Experience supporting U.S. healthcare workflows. - Hands-on experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations. - High empathy and professionalism, especially with mental health patients. - Reliable, organized, and able to work starting at 8:00 AM PST. Preferred: - Latin America-based candidates. - Spanish is a plus. - Psychiatry or behavioral health experience is a plus.
