Requirements and responsibilities

• Helping to prepare and maintain our Data Warehouses, ETLs, databases, and AWS Data-Related services. • Bringing data together from different sources and getting them ready for use, specifying how they should be cleansed and prepared. Reviewing colleagues’ outputs to ensure quality and communicate the limitations of data • Producing data models and understanding where to use different types of models, understanding industry-recognized data-modeling patterns and standards. You can reverse-engineer a data model from a live system • A strong understanding of a range of statistical methodologies and data analysis and visualization techniques. You’re able to write SQL queries of advanced complexity and are adept at using business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Amazon Quicksight, Tableau) • Obtaining a deep understanding of the business to make recommendations to our Engineering Team on how to optimize and improve the quality of the data collected. • Take ownership over our data analytics platforms and technologies to gather insights and provide with feedback to stakeholders across all the company’s departments.
