Requirements and responsibilities

We are seeking experienced SAP Payment Engine Techno-Functional Consultants on behalf of our partner, an IT firm specializing in banking and financial services. The company delivers SAP-based solutions to development banks and financial institutions, and the selected consultants will support banking payment processing projects. This role requires strong ABAP expertise combined with solid functional knowledge of payment processing and central payments. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, and configure SAP Payment Engine / Central Payments solutions. - Develop and enhance ABAP programs, classes, function modules, and interfaces. - Integrate SAP Payment Engine with banks, payment service providers, and peripheral systems. - Configure payment processing, clearing, and exception handling components. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize high-volume payment runs in productive systems. - Debug ABAP code and resolve payment processing issues. - Support unit, integration, and regression testing. - Manage transports and provide technical documentation and code reviews. Requirements: - 7+ years of experience with SAP Payment Engine / Central Payments. - 10+ years of strong SAP ABAP development experience. - Experience with system integrations and bank interfaces. - Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Fluent English.
