The primary focus is the quality of packaging and bundling—ensuring every kit, master carton, and unit reaches the end customer in perfect condition—with secondary responsibility for light product-level quality checks that often surface during the packing process.The successful candidate will set inspection standards, oversee inspection activities (in-house and via third-party agencies), authorise pre-shipment release, and drive corrective action with suppliers and packing partners. The role reports to the Manager, Supply Chain (China) and works closely with the R&D, sourcing, and offsite operations teams.What You Will DoInspect incoming packaging materials (cartons, polybags, mailers, inserts, foam, blister packs, hang tags, manuals, warranty cards) against approved specifications and dielines, ensuring compliance before use.Conduct in-line and final QC checks on bundling and kitting operations, verifying correct components, quantities, accessories, and inserts, along with master carton quality (count, weight, dimensions, sealing, drop-test compliance, labeling).Validate barcode, SKU, batch code, country-of-origin, and marketplace-specific labels for accuracy and scannability, including DTC and Amazon FBA requirements (SIOC, frustration-free packaging, shipping integrity, and unboxing standards).Coordinate packaging validation tests (drop, compression, transit), maintain a sample retention library, and approve new packaging formats prior to mass production.Perform product-level quality checks during packing (visual, finish, accessories, basic functionality), quarantine non-conforming items, and coordinate rework or replacement with suppliers while tracking defect trends.Apply AQL sampling standards (e.g., ISO 2859) to drive inspection decisions, and develop/update inspection criteria, checklists, and quality manuals per SKU and bundle configuration.Own pre-shipment QA sign-off, issuing detailed inspection reports with photos, defect logs, and pass/fail recommendations, and managing rework cycles and re-inspections.Drive continuous improvement and supplier quality by conducting root cause analysis, issuing CAPAs, tracking performance metrics, maintaining QA documentation/reporting, and supervising/training QC inspectors (including 3rd-party teams).Who You AreDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Packaging, or a related discipline.3–7 years of QA/QC experience in consumer goods manufacturing, including supervisory responsibility and team oversight.Strong expertise in packaging materials, bundling/kitting operations, and master carton standards.Experience inspecting products for DTC e-commerce channels, with Amazon FBA prep requirements (SIOC, labeling, compliance) considered a strong advantage.Solid working knowledge of AQL sampling (ISO 2859) and packaging test methods such as drop, compression, and vibration testing.Preferred exposure to travel goods, health & wellness, or fitness product categories, with familiarity in consumer compliance standards (CE, RoHS, Prop 65, CPSIA).Fluent Mandarin Chinese (essential) and working-level English, with the ability to read technical drawings, packaging dielines, and product specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (inspection logs, AQL calculations, defect trending) with strong attention to detail, documentation/reporting discipline, decision-making confidence, and effective stakeholder communication.Why You’ll Love Working at NysonianCompetitive base salary.Collaborate with high-performing teams across fast-growing global brands.Meaningful opportunities for growth, ownership, and impact.A culture built on accountability, transparency, and execution.Our CommitmentNysonian is an equal opportunity employer.
