Responsibilities and deliverables

Who we are: Monida is a U.S.-based fintech building a mobile-first international remittance platform for the USA-Mexico corridor. Migrants send money home via debit card or cash at 7-Eleven and Walmart. We are integrated with regulated partners for KYC, payments, and SPEI disbursement. Real product. Real compliance. Real launch. What you will own: - You will be the second engineer on our Flutter team — working alongside a strong self-taught developer to ship our investor demo, deploy to TestFlight and Play beta, and take us to production. - You will own the deployment pipeline, security hardening, and CI/CD from day one. - You will also mentor our existing developer without ego. Must-haves: - 5+ years mobile, 3+ years Flutter in production. - Shipped at least one app on the App Store and Google Play — we will ask for the links. - Flutter flavors, GoRouter, Riverpod 2.x, Dio, flutter_secure_storage. - Apple code signing, provisioning profiles, TestFlight end-to-end. - Google Play Console — internal → closed → production release tracks. - GitHub Actions + Fastlane (gym, match, deliver, supply). - Firebase Crashlytics, App Distribution. - OWASP Mobile Top 10 — you know this list without looking it up. - Certificate pinning, biometric authentication (local_auth), jailbreak detection, secure token storage. - REST APIs with typed Dart models, JWT/OAuth2, KYC provider integrations. Strong plus: - Prior remittance, neobank, or payments app experience. - Experience with Signzy, Persona, Onfido, or any KYC SDK. - Sentry mobile SDK. - Bilingual Spanish/English. Not a fit if: - You have "built Flutter apps" but never deployed one to either store. - You think security is the backend team's problem. - You need heavy management or synchronous team structure.
