This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building relationships, and is excited to operate with high ownership.This is not a brand-only marketing role. We are looking for someone with strong commercial instincts who is excited to help build pipeline and drive revenue through events and field marketing initiatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn the sourcing, planning, execution, and measurement of webinars, conferences, executive dinners, trade shows, and customer-facing eventsBuild and manage co-marketing partnerships with strategic partners, agencies, communities, technology platforms, and ecosystem organizationsPartner closely with Sales and BDR teams on attendee sourcing, outbound targeting, event engagement strategies, and post-event follow-upManage webinar operations end-to-end including speaker coordination, registration funnels, promotion, logistics, execution, and reportingCreate scalable operational playbooks and workflows for field marketing and event executionTrack and report on event performance, pipeline generation, conversion metrics, and ROICoordinate cross-functional execution across marketing, sales, recruiting, operations, and leadership teamsContinuously improve attendee experience, event quality, and operational efficiency across all programsYOU MIGHT THRIVE IFYou enjoy operating in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership and ambiguityYou’re highly organized and can manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously without losing attention to detailYou have strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams, customers, and external partnersYou’re commercially minded and excited to help drive measurable pipeline and business impactYou’re comfortable working flexible hours around live events, conferences, and travel schedulesYou enjoy traveling frequently and being customer-facingYou move quickly, learn fast, and enjoy solving operational problems in real timePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred qualifications include 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or other go-to-market functions.Recent graduates with academic backgrounds in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields are also encouraged to apply.Experience planning and executing B2B SaaS events, webinars, conferences, or executive programsStrong operational and project management skills with the ability to independently run complex programsExperience partnering directly with sales teams on pipeline generation and event follow-up strategiesFamiliarity with modern GTM and marketing tooling such as HubSpot, Salesforce, webinar platforms, and event management softwareStrong written communication and presentation skillsNice to haves:Experience working in high-growth startup environmentsBackground in journalism, communications, or storytellingExperience running co-marketing or ecosystem partnership programsExperience supporting founder-led or executive-facing eventsJOB DETAILSCompensation: $45–60/hour USD depending on experience (1099)Engagement Type: Contractor, with potential for extension and/or conversion to a full-time role based on business needs and performance.Location: San Francisco / Bay Area or RemoteTravel: Frequent travel required for conferences, customer events, and industry programs across the United StatesHours: This role may require extended hours around events, launches, and travel schedulesReporting Structure: Directly reports to company leadership and works cross-functionally with Sales and GTM teamsOTHER BENEFITSDirect exposure to founders and GTM leadershipOpportunity to help build and scale Retell AI’s field marketing engine from the ground upHigh ownership with significant impact on pipeline generation and company growthFast-paced environment with rapid career growth opportunities across marketing and demand generationINTERVIEW PROCESSRecruiter Screen (20 mins): Background review, communication assessment, and discussion around work style, travel expectations, and startup intensityHiring Manager Interview (30 mins): Deep dive into past event execution experience, pipeline impact, and operational ownershipFinal (2 hours): Includes content intuition, behavioral interviews, and a cross-functional conversation with sales leadershipFinal Conversation: Discussion focused on long-term growth, ownership, and alignment with Retell AI’s operating culture
