Job DescriptionThe Rackspace Global Pricing Team has a pivotal role in developing pricing strategy, engaging in complex commercial pursuits to understand and communicate financial positions and pricing decisions, and working cross-functionally with the wider business teams to instill financial excellence. Within this team, the successful candidate will be a major contributor to developing the tools and resources to define and implement the Global Pricing Strategy. Daily tasks include analyzing and identifying key financial information and trends to advise, drive and influence key commercial decisions.We are looking for someone who can work under pressure, maintain high standards of deliverables and attention to detail, who thinks in a structured way and is highly analytical, and demonstrates excellent communication skills. A successful candidate should be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and projects, be curious about technology, willing to learn as well as educate, and should have a very strong understanding of financial concepts and their commercial applications.Please submit a resume in English to be considered for the role. All interviews will be held in English.Work Location: Mexico- Hybrid 2 days a week in office for candidates who live within 40 KM of our office in Miguel Hidalgo, Ciudad de MexicoKey ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance to sales and support organizations with regards to the best commercial approach for strategically significant accounts and opportunitiesWork with product and offering managers from end-to-end to develop financial models for new product unit economics as well as custom client-specific commercialsPartner with global business and operational teams to ensure pricing strategy is defined and delivered consistently across geographies and segmentsHelp drive profitability through the provision of quality management information and commercial adviceDrive and support continuous pricing process and tool refinement and improvement by applying a solid understanding of internal business processes and policiesKey Performance IndicatorsUnderstand complex business issues and make appropriate recommendations by applying subject matter expertise, rigorous financial modeling, and considerable commercial judgementMaintain and develop pricing tools, product unit economics, and business case modelsEnsure that business leaders are taking healthy financial decisions and that the company’s overall financial targets are achievedEvaluate profitability and margins for customers through objective and data-driven analysisTrack and measure the margin realization and overall profitability of new product launches and large strategic deals against initial business case projectionsImprove tools enhancing the understanding of financial performance by the businessRequirementsBachelors in Business Administration/Finance/Economics; MBA or equivalent preferred4+ years of relevant working experience highly desirableSelf-starter that takes ownership of issues and drives them toward a conclusionAble to succeed in a fast, high-growth and fairly unstructured work environmentAbility to dig into details as well as analyze data from a high level viewAdvanced Excel skills, and experience with data analytics and complex commercial modelsExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal/networking skills.Team player with an open and internal customer focused approachPlease submit a resume in English to be considered for the role.
