Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through prospecting, networking, and referral development. Manage complex, consultative sales cycles averaging 6-12 months from initial contact to contract signature.Relationship-Centered SellingConduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand practice workflows, patient populations, and clinical challenges. Collaborate with clinical affairs team to design customized diagnostic solutions that address specific practice needs. Lead product demonstrations and educational sessions that showcase clinical utility and practice integration benefits.Partnership DevelopmentIdentify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, practice management companies, and healthcare networks. Represent Viome at industry conferences, medical society meetings, and regional healthcare events. Develop referral relationships with complementary healthcare technology vendors and consultants.Customer Success & GrowthWork closely with implementation team to ensure smooth onboarding and optimal utilization of diagnostic services. Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for expanded testing volumes and additional service offerings. Serve as voice of customer to internal teams, providing feedback on product development and service enhancement opportunities.Market Intelligence & StrategyMaintain deep understanding of competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and reimbursement trends. Provide market feedback to inform product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches. Collaborate with marketing team to develop territory-specific campaigns and educational content.What You BringExperience & EducationBachelor's degree required; advanced degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare preferred. 5-10 years of progressive B2B sales experience in healthcare, with proven track record selling to healthcare providers. Experience selling laboratory developed tests (LDTs), molecular diagnostics, or similar clinical testing services strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in relationship-based selling environments with long sales cycles and complex decision-making processes.Skills & CompetenciesProven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in competitive healthcare markets. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences. Strong business acumen with experience developing territory strategies, forecasting, and pipeline management. Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales productivity tools. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Personal AttributesEntrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving startup environment. High emotional intelligence and genuine passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative healthcare solutions. Clinical background or advanced understanding of preventive medicine approaches.Salary Range$120,000 - $150,000 a yearOn-Target Earnings (OTE): Approximately $180,000 – $220,000 annually, including commissions.At Viome, we are committed to pay transparency and equity.
