Requirements and responsibilities


The Role: Chief of Staff to the CEO. Our current Chief of Staff has grown into a Head of Operations role — this hire backfills the gap they left. That is not a coincidence; it is how we operate. If you are good, your role grows. This is a company moving fast across multiple priorities, jurisdictions, and time zones simultaneously. Your job is to turn that into structured execution — and to call it out when something is not working. The Head of Operations owns customer operations and delivery. You own the execution layer behind everything else. Responsibilities: - Strategic execution: Take what comes out of a call or a team meeting and turn it into a plan with owners and deadlines. Then make sure it gets done. - Founding team coordination: Keep a distributed team across Gibraltar, India, and Europe aligned, unblocked, and accountable, including calendar management. - Decision support: When a call needs to be made, you have already pulled the data, summarized the options, and have a recommendation ready. - BD support: Research prospects, draft outreach, prepare meeting briefs, and follow up on leads that would otherwise go cold. - Operational infrastructure: Build the systems, templates, and workflows that let a small team punch above its weight. We are not looking for: - Someone who needs a task list to function. - Anyone who waits to be told what the priority is. - Someone who will nod along when things are not right. - Anyone who needs hand-holding before they will act. We are looking for: - You thrive in ambiguity and create structure where there is not any. - You push back — on the plan, on the timeline — when something is not right. - Sharp written English: Proposals, internal communications, meeting briefs, all clean. - Commercial instincts: You understand revenue, pipeline, and what matters pre-launch. - Comfortable managing across cultures and time zones without dropping threads. - Experience in consulting, professional services, or a fast-moving startup. You do not need insurance experience. You need to be the kind of person who owns their patch completely and makes everyone around them more effective.
