Life360 is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our mission-driven team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and modifying software systems to improve performance, analyzing requirements, and supporting and coordinating engineers in developing new projects. The salary range for this position is $215,197 to $240,000, and the compensation package includes a wide range of benefits and equity. Responsibilities: - Find and analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan performance improvement initiatives. - Design and modify software systems to improve performance. - Prepare and review technical documentation, analyze requirements, and develop software systems, testing, and validation procedures. - Support and coordinate engineers in developing new projects, ensuring that requirements are met. - Communicate and collaborate extensively with team and cross-team members regarding current projects. - Create and participate in training sessions to share knowledge and educate team members. - Participate in goal creation and execution for the team. - Mentor lower level engineers. - May telecommute.
