Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support a dentist’s office with insurance claims processing, patient communication, and appointment scheduling. This role requires proactive follow-up with insurance providers, accurate claims entry in Dentrix software, and professional handling of patient calls. Responsibilities: - Call insurance companies to verify coverage and follow up on pending claims. - Enter processed claims and insurance details into Dentrix software accurately. - Make and answer phone calls for patient scheduling and general inquiries. - Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. - Send appointment reminders as needed. - Maintain patient and insurance records confidentially and accurately. Requirements: - Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) - Professional and friendly phone etiquette - Experience working in a dental office environment. - Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes and terminology. - Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
