We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with expertise in AWS network firewall, Terraform infrastructure as code, and AWS Security Hub. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure while ensuring the highest level of security and performance. This is a freelance, contract position with a pay range of $70 – $80/hr and an estimated duration of 40h/week for a long term. Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage network architecture in AWS, leveraging AWS network firewall solutions to ensure robust security. - Help architect a solution that replaces current Palo Alto Panorama and F5 Big IP network components. - Utilize Terraform to define and manage network infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, repeatability, and maintainability. - Help configure and optimize the AWS Security Hub into the network architecture to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats effectively. - Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to understand application requirements and provide networking solutions that meet their needs. - Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to network security and cloud infrastructure.
