Our factory-trained technicians are always available to assist with pump repairs, motor repairs, and control panel repairs. We specialize in hydraulic troubleshooting, system installations, routine preventative maintenance, full pump rebuilds, lift station service checks, and emergency responseMidwest Pump Works is hiring an experienced outside sales professional with strong mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn about pumps, ideally for municipal or industrial applications. This individual should excel in building relationships, generating leads, and closing sales. Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.While this role is remote, we are asking for a candidate to be based in Eastern Iowa as the role requires travel throughout Eastern Iowa to job sites and customer locations.What you will do:Prospect and develop new accounts through cold calling, leads, and networkingManage a strong sales pipeline using NetSuite CRMMaintain and grow existing customer relationshipsUnderstand and promote Iowa Pump Works products and servicesCollaborate with vendors and attend sales meetings, trainings, and trade showsDeliver effective presentations and negotiate dealsManage time independently with minimal supervisionBackground/ Experience:4+ years of outside sales experienceMechanical aptitudePump knowledge is preferredValid driver’s licenseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs and travel overnight as needed
