Key Skills (Must Have): * 8+ years of experience in application development and delivering projects end-to-end. * Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, JSPs, and MVC frameworks. * Experience with Spring MVC and microservices (REST, JSON, Spring Boot, Java). * Hands-on experience with cloud-native application design and deployment. * Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA). * Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. * Experience with event and data streaming platforms (Kafka). * Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and benchmark applications. Good to Have: * Financial services domain experience. * Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure). * Experience with Test Driven Development and application migration to the cloud. * Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory). * Experience with identity technologies (OAuth, Azure AD, AWS IAM, OKTA, Ping). * Familiarity with UI frameworks (Angular, React). * Knowledge of caching techniques (Redis, Coherence). * Exposure to AI techniques. Mandatory Skills: * Java. * Spring Boot. * Microservices. * REST. * Kafka. * SQL. * Hibernate. * Docker. * Kubernetes. * Git. * JPA. * AWS. * Azure. * Cloud-native technologies. * Python. Good to Have: * AWS or any cloud exposure. * Working knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. Shortlisting Criteria: * Hands-on backend coding capability. * Real implementation experience with Kafka. * Active development experience with Angular (not outdated). * Willingness to work the UK shift and follow a hybrid model. * Availability to attend a Saturday drive.
