Company Overview:
- Enterprise teams in retail and consumer goods still spend their days copying data between systems, chasing work through email and legacy UIs, and reconciling the gaps by hand.
- We are building the AI operations platform that finishes that work, utilizing AI agents that execute end-to-end processes across UIs and APIs, with governance built in.
- We are a Series A company of around 70 people, freshly funded and expanding from Europe into the US.
- Our customers are large enterprise retailers and CPG brands, and the work we do with them shows up on the P&L.
Role Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Transformation Strategist, you sit with a customer's executives and the people who actually do the work, find where value is trapped, size it, and turn it into a roadmap our platform delivers against.
- You will structure messy problems fast, commit to a number with incomplete data, and tell a VP or COO what to do next.
- Find and size the opportunity by working through real operational data including spend, invoices, rate cards, and SKUs to build a baseline, make your assumptions explicit, and land on a number a CFO would forward.
- Decide what is worth building by ranking the next workflows by size, frequency, and capturable value before asking whether we can build them.
- Own the executive relationship by being the direct counterpart to COOs, CFOs, and operations leaders, running the follow-on conversations yourself, and telling clients what they need to hear even when it is uncomfortable.
- Drive adoption on the ground by spending real time with frontline teams so the change actually lands, and earn credibility with the people whose work is changing.
- Expand the account by turning a first proven workflow into the next five, and the next phase of the engagement.
- Shape the function by helping define how this work is done here.
Required Qualifications:
- Top-tier consulting training, ideally entering at analyst or post-MBA associate level, with two or more years at Engagement Manager, Project Leader, or Principal level where you owned a workstream and faced the client without a partner in the room.
- Experience in short, high-stakes problem-solving cycles such as due diligence, value creation, portfolio operations, or performance improvement work where you owned a number in revenue, margin, cost, or working capital.
- Top-down communication skills, including leading with the point, supporting it with structure, and performing mental math under time pressure.
- Ability to range across problem types, having solved more than one shape of problem such as strategy and operations, diligence and delivery, or building something from zero.
- Comfort with ambiguity and being energized by a Series A environment with no fixed playbook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail, grocery, or CPG exposure including category, trading, merchandising, or supply chain.
- Private equity-backed portfolio work.
- Experience sitting with the people who do the work.
