About the RoleThis is a hands-on engineering opportunity for someone who works at the intersection of business-process engineering and applied AI.You will map existing workflows, redesign them around automation, and build production-ready AI agents and orchestration systems. You’ll own projects end-to-end—from process discovery to deployment on Azure Container Apps and Azure Function Apps.What You'll DoTranslate business processes into high-impact AI automation opportunities.Map current-state workflows and redesign them for automation.Build AI agents from scratch using tools such as Codex and Claude Code.Deploy and operate agents on Azure Container Apps and Azure Function Apps.Design multi-agent coordination, tool/data integrations, state management, and handoffs.Optimize model selection, cost, latency, and performance.Build production-ready systems with evaluation, observability, error handling, and guardrails.Required ExperienceDemonstrated experience building AI agents from scratch, not just prompt tuning or no-code automation.Strong model cost-optimization skills across token usage, compute, latency, and quality.Solid software engineering fundamentals with Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, version control, testing, and CI/CD.Ability to work independently and deliver with minimal oversight.Nice to HaveAgent evaluation and observability tooling experience.What Success Looks Like in 90 DaysAt least one agentic build deployed into production on Azure, automating a previously manual process.Clear current- and future-state process maps guiding the build.A repeatable, cost-aware approach for deploying new agents within the existing orchestration ecosystem.Important: Please review the timezone and U.S. business-hours overlap requirements before applying.
