Fractional / Part-Time Growth Product Lead (B2C) About the Company Our client is a fast-growing real estate analytics platform helping homebuyers and investors make data-driven decisions. Their product serves over 180,000 active users, offering real-time insights into U.S. housing trends and empowering users with transparency and data-backed guidance. About the Role The client is focused on one thing right now: converting more of their high-volume traffic — especially from X and Instagram — into activated, paying users. They need someone to own the analytics and experimentation side of that push: setting up proper event tracking in PostHog, digging into user behavior to find where the funnels leak, and running the experiments that fix them. This is a hands-on Fractional / Part-Time role, roughly 15–20 hours per week. What We're Looking For High-Volume B2C Experience: A proven track record on consumer-facing apps with large active user bases (freemium/paywalled). This needs to be pure-play B2C/consumer — enterprise B2B or agency backgrounds won't fit this role. PostHog Expertise (Required): Hands-on experience using PostHog as your primary analytics tool — funnels, session recordings, cohorts and retention, feature flags, and A/B experiments. You should be able to open a PostHog instance and know exactly where to look. Event Tracking Setup: Experience designing and implementing event tracking from the ground up — defining the tracking plan and event taxonomy, instrumenting events (or spec'ing them precisely for engineers), and auditing data quality so the team can trust the numbers. Conversion Optimization: Deep CRO experience — funnel drop-off analysis, onboarding friction, paywall and freemium mechanics — with a bias for shipping experiments that measurably move signup → activation → paid conversion, especially for short-attention social media traffic. Nice to Have You've built and grown your own app, even a small one — founder/indie hacker experience maps closely to how this client operates. Enough technical fluency to collaborate directly with engineers on instrumentation and experiment implementation.
