Customer Experience & Travel Support Specialist:
- Location: Remote.
- Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week, 9:00 AM EST.
Overview:
- We are looking for a warm, highly organized Customer Experience & Travel Support Specialist to support travelers throughout their journey, from their first inquiry through pre-departure.
- You will be the go-to person for guest communication, bookings, payments, travel documentation, and CRM updates while helping create a smooth and memorable travel experience.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely loves travel and enjoys combining customer service with behind-the-scenes organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage guest and prospective traveler communications via email with warmth, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Answer questions about itineraries, logistics, payments, bookings, and travel documents.
- Escalate sensitive matters when needed.
- Draft and send pre-departure communications, reminders, follow-ups, and written recaps after guest calls.
- Maintain accurate traveler records, bookings, payments, and guest information across CRM and booking systems.
- Track deposits and final payment schedules.
- Follow up on outstanding payments.
- Coordinate updates to trip landing pages, pricing, availability, rosters, checklists, and shared travel documents.
- Communicate with European partners, including hotels and concert venues, to coordinate logistics and relay updates internally.
- Support occasional website and social media updates, including basic WordPress edits and Facebook or Instagram posts.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Previous experience in customer support or another guest-facing role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and customer conversations.
- Confidence working across email, CRM systems, booking platforms, and other digital tools.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Gmail.
- Experience handling customer data, payments, bookings, and travel documentation.
Nice to Have:
- Working proficiency in Spanish and/or German.
- Experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or travel booking platforms such as WeTravel.
- Firsthand international travel experience, particularly in Europe.
- Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram content updates.
