We are looking for an experienced IT Application Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and digital manufacturing environments. If you enjoy solving production problems, supporting shopfloor applications, and driving digital transformation, we would love to have a chat with you.
What You’ll Do
* Support and enhance MES platforms used in production.
* Troubleshoot issues affecting quality, traceability, and shopfloor workflows.
* Coordinate updates, deployments, and system improvements.
* Work with Production, QA, Engineering, and IT to gather requirements.
* Support integrations between MES, ERP, SCADA, and automation systems.
* Perform root-cause analysis and maintain system reliability.
What We’re Looking For
* 5–8 years in IT Application Engineering.
* Strong experience with MES (Opcenter, PAS-X, POMS, Wonderware, or similar).
* Solid skills in SQL, APIs, scripting, and integrations.
* Experience supporting live manufacturing / shopfloor systems.
* Excellent communication skills and remote-work maturity.
Nice To Have
* Basic proficiency in an additional language such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
* ERP (SAP/Oracle/D365) experience.
* Cloud or virtualization skills.
* SCADA exposure.
* Past involvement in major digital transformation initiatives.
