Our client, a community bank in Centreville, MD, is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist to support bank operations. The role involves managing the IRA Portfolio, Debit Card Program, and Business Process Manager, providing support to banking center staff, and handling various operational functions. The position offers a generous hourly rate of up to $28/hr and a full benefits program. Responsibilities: - Manage the IRA Portfolio, Debit Card Program, and Business Process Manager - Provide support to banking center staff and act as a point of escalation for all IRA issues - Provide IRA training and ensure satisfactory or higher IRA audit ratings - Manage the bank's Debit Card Program, including processing EFT disputes and performing card maintenance - Manage Quality Control for new account/maintenance changes - Ensure account opening forms/disclosures are compliant - Process wires and remotely deposited checks in a timely manner - Draft new procedures and provide updates to existing procedures - Handle NSF/Exception Item Processing, Check Adjustments, Returned Items, Large Item Reviews, Research Requests, and other duties as needed - Provide support to branch staff and act as a point of contact for escalation of operational issues - Support HSA new account opening and maintenance processes - Perform daily CD Interest Check issuance and proactively resolve issues relating to errors - Perform enterprise-wide escheatment for the bank - Responsible for special projects as needed
