Requirements and responsibilities

• You will be an essential part of our enterprise, delivering efficient and cost-effective internet that thousands of working/leisure guests, and IoT devices, rely on. You will oversee every aspect of Kasa’s ISP accounts and will become our expert within Kasa and all of our internet needs. • Work closely with our large Guest Experience and Property Operations teams to help them troubleshoot unstable internet service remotely or on-site. • You will occasionally need to travel on exceptionally large builds in order to help strategize on best installation methods. • Network Design & Installation: • Possess experience working with ISPs (AT&T, Comcast, and others) in order to guide them in the installation of modems/routers and extending lines in the most efficient way possible inside various building constructions and ages. • Coordinate with existing ISP representatives or, when needed, develop relationships with new representatives (or installation vendors) in order to set up accounts at new properties on specified dates inside of tight timelines. • For newly acquired rental properties, research the property floor plans prior to the installation appointment to design optimal locations within each apartment, mindful of firewalls and ethernet port locations. Apply your expertise on pricing versus value to ensure the best type of service is being installed. • Work well with ambiguity; gritty in finding information not provided by the properties. • Determine when additional technology is needed such as WiFi repeaters and work with the on-site team for proper installation. • Have a strong project management orientation that allows you to define how to best document the physical equipment being installed and its location within each unit for future troubleshooting needs. • ISP Account Management: • Create online profiles for each ISP account and document the access information to these accounts in the appropriate databases. • Design processes for all teams to communicate account login credential changes. But as the owner, continually monitor and take ownership to document any login credential, network name and password, or contract pricing changes in Kasa's tracking tools. • Work with the Financial team to ensure each account is set up properly for ongoing payments. Be the first to identify problems that would interrupt service or lead to paying higher than market rates. • Track plans and pricing on the accounts and maintain desired speeds and promotional pricing. Negotiate with account reps when new plans or account updates are needed. • Identify and update blacklisting tool to stop guests from accessing sites that show content that results in copyright infringement. Manage and respond to notifications and any potential fraudulent account activity. • Account Troubleshooting & Training: • Document the full scope of hardware being used at all properties for each ISP company and create a troubleshooting playbook for each provider and type of equipment. • Train our Guest Experience and Property Operations teams on high-level troubleshooting for each building's unique network and their unique equipment.
