Position Overview:
We are looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to drive measurable business outcomes—specifically booked appointments and recurring revenue—from our existing lead and customer base. You will own and execute lifecycle campaigns across email and SMS, using segmentation, automation, and performance analysis to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
Lifecycle Strategy & Journeys
* Build and manage email/SMS flows for new leads, unsold estimates, abandoned bookings, post-service follow-up, and reactivation.
* Segment audiences based on service type, urgency, recency, and value.
* Align campaigns with seasonality, available capacity, and promotional timing.
Campaign Execution & Copywriting
* Write clear, benefit-driven copy for emails and SMS that drives action (calls or online bookings).
* Run A/B tests on subject lines, offers, send times, and layouts to optimize booked jobs.
* Coordinate with creative, paid media, and web teams for campaign alignment.
Analytics, Testing & Deliverability
* Maintain a healthy, compliant list; manage engagement segments and suppressions.
* Conduct holdout tests and experiments to measure true incremental lift.
* Report weekly on CRM-attributable bookings and revenue.
What Success Looks Like
* Growth in booked appointments and revenue directly from CRM.
* High email/SMS engagement with low spam or opt-out rates.
* Strong lead-to-booking and estimate-to-booked conversion rates.
* Consistent lift in performance across key automated flows.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years managing email/SMS marketing programs with clear revenue responsibility.
* Demonstrated results via test vs. control or similar attribution models.
* Hands-on experience with segmentation, automation, and campaign execution in a modern ESP/SMS tool.
* Strong grasp of CRM performance analytics and attribution to revenue.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience in home services, memberships, or subscription businesses.
* Collaboration with call centers or dispatch teams to align capacity with campaigns.
* Basic HTML editing for email formatting.
