Job Description We are on a quest for a talented 2D Game Artist/UI Designer to bring our projects to life! As a 2D Game Artist/UI Designer, you bring game worlds to life through compelling visuals and intuitive user experiences. You specialize in crafting military-themed assets and mobile-optimized interfaces that enhance player engagement and streamline in-game interactions. Your eye for detail and deep understanding of casino UI patterns make you an essential part of the game development team.Responsibilities:Design and illustrate high-quality 2D assets with a military theme for use in casino-style mobile games.Develop responsive and visually appealing UI layouts optimized for various mobile devices.Apply best practices in mobile game UI/UX to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.Create user interface elements that align with engagement and retention strategies common in casino games.Collaborate closely with game developers, product owners, and other artists to ensure consistent design execution.Participate in the iteration process by incorporating feedback and improving visuals/UI elements based on player experience data.Desirable Skills and Experience:Must-haves:Proven experience in 2D game art and UI/UX design for mobile games.Familiarity with casino game UI patterns and engagement design principles.Strong understanding of responsive design for mobile optimization.Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software.Portfolio showcasing military-themed visuals and mobile UI work.Nice to haves:Experience in doing concept / Illustration art for Slot/Casino gaming is a major plusFamiliarity with 3D software (e.g. 3DS Max, ZBrush, or Maya) + game engines is a plusExperience working in cross-functional game dev teams.Basic knowledge of Unity or game implementation processes.Ability to create visual assets that align with monetization and user engagement strategies.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Job Type:Work from home (Remote)Full-timeMid LevelSchedule:Morning Shift (AU-based client)Monday to FridaySalary:To be discussedAbout Kwanii:Kwanii is a BPO company with operations in Australia and the Philippines.
