We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Lead to join our team at our Newark, NJ Fulfillment Center. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the small maintenance team and ensuring all maintenance tasks are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include reviewing and executing maintenance tickets, managing and assigning tasks to the team, and communicating statuses and ETA's to the site lead and respective departments. You will also work closely with the safety team to provide a safe work environment, perform internal repairs, and manage relationships with maintenance contractors and service providers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining records of assets, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and proactively identifying and resolving maintenance issues. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a production environment, is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and familiar with Google Suite and MS applications. Responsibilities: - Oversee the small maintenance team and ensure all maintenance tasks are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency - Review and execute all maintenance tickets and requests - Manage and assign tasks to the team - Communicate statuses and ETA's to the site lead and respective departments - Work closely with the safety team to provide a safe work environment - Perform internal repairs and minimize dependence on 3rd party service providers and contractors - Manage, build, and maintain relationships with maintenance contractors and service providers - Keep track of and replenish all spare parts needed for the proper operations of the fulfillment center - Maintain up-to-date records of all assets within the facility - Maintain procedures for overall maintenance activities - Proactively identify, evaluate, and resolve maintenance issues through inspection and complaints - Maintain, update, and plan the schedule, including assigning tasks to associates and contractors - Manage and improve preventative maintenance program - Develop and implement practical production-oriented solutions to technical problems and support process improvement investigations - Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with Warehouse policy, procedures, and instructions
