As a Staff Platform Engineer at Deliveroo, you will play a key role in guiding the strategy and implementation of Platform Engineering across the group. This includes managing cloud infrastructure, compute clusters, observability tooling, and data stores. You will be responsible for ensuring a secure, stable, available, and performant cloud environment to support the company's growth. Additionally, you will lead technical direction for platform teams, influence strategic direction, and build relationships with customer engineering groups. The role also involves coaching and supporting peers and colleagues, as well as contributing to engineering interviews to guide the understanding of the Deliveroo bar for all lower levels.
