This is a freelance, contract position for individuals with 3-5 years of experience in software engineering/development. The role involves contributing to the development of new AI models using domain expertise, with the flexibility to work as much or as little as desired. The hourly range is $36 - $45/hr, and the estimated duration is 20 hours per week for the long term. No interview is required, and there is an opportunity to start working within 48 hours. The role requires complete fluency in English and the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, proficiency in additional programming languages, and data science experience. The work involves training AI large language models, solving coding problems, optimizing code efficiency, writing test cases, and providing human-readable summaries of coding problems. No previous experience with AI is necessary, as detailed instructions will be provided after the application and verification process. Responsibilities: - Complete a brief onboarding assessment, including an async assessment and identity verification - Contribute to the development of new AI models using domain expertise - Solve highly complex coding problems - Optimize code to run at maximum efficiency - Write robust test cases to confirm code works efficiently and effectively - Write human-readable summaries of coding problems - Write explanations of how code can solve problems and evaluate various solution approaches
