ALIVATION HEALTH, LLC is seeking a versatile and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our vibrant medical team. The ideal candidate will have a perceptive passion to promote, restore, and protect the health of individuals and their families in a collaborative team environment. They will work with the Chief Medical Officer to develop patient relationships and provide a complete treatment management plan as a trusted advanced practice healthcare provider, mentor, educator, and researcher in a safe and therapeutic physical environment. Responsibilities: - Implements and supports the practice mission and strategic vision within their respective departments. - Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity, and security policies. - Provides routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care for patients in collaboration with the supervising Psychiatrist. - Maintains patient case load requiring specialized training in a clinical area. - Provides patient medication management and education regarding prescription effects and side effects. - Completes patient-related administrative and clinical documentation. - Confers with patients, families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care. - Utilizes multi-specialty services within the clinic (Primary Care, Pharmacy & Research). - Demonstrates critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations. - Demonstrates adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative. - Demonstrates excellent active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, medical staff, student residents, patients, families, visitors, and the broader health care community. - Demonstrates competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance. - Performs other clinical or administrative duties as assigned to meet practice needs.
