Requirements and responsibilities

You won’t be handed the playbook — you’ll write it with us. Remote | Full-time | \$ + Equity | SaaS | Shopify Ecosystem We’re Videowise, a profitable, fast-moving video commerce platform trusted by more than 3,000 brands. Our tech turns product videos into high-converting shoppable experiences. Now, we’re looking for a VP of Growth to join our exec team and help take us from \$2M → \$5M+ ARR (and beyond). ⚠️ This isn’t a role for someone looking to execute a roadmap. It’s for someone who wants to build the roadmap. 🎯 Why this role matters: * You’ll be the GTM engine builder — designing, testing, and scaling the strategies that drive new revenue. This includes demand gen, PLG, pricing, onboarding, activation, CRO, paid acquisition, and everything in between. * You’ll have direct influence over product direction, full freedom to experiment with pricing and strategy, and a seat at the table alongside the CEO, sales, marketing, and product. ✅ What you’ll actually do: * Design and execute growth strategies across the funnel (acquisition → activation → retention → expansion). * Own and optimize key metrics: CAC, LTV, MRR growth, conversion, onboarding. * Build repeatable GTM motions and playbooks from scratch. * Work closely with product on roadmap priorities that unlock growth. * Test pricing, bundling, and packaging strategies (nothing’s off-limits). * Lead and grow a lean team — you’ll help hire and scale as you go. 🧠 What kind of person we’re looking for: * You’ve built SaaS GTM engines — ideally in the eComm or Shopify space. * You think and act like an owner — you spot growth levers, chase signals, and make it happen. * Scrappy, high-energy, strategic — you don’t wait for permission, but you play long-term games. * You’re deeply data-driven but have strong creative instincts (positioning, messaging, partnerships). * You know the eComm/Shopify ecosystem and have an existing presence or strong interest in it. * You want to work directly with the founder to shape strategy and own outcomes. 📈 What you’re stepping into: * A profitable, low-churn SaaS product that’s ready to scale. * A clear product-market fit, backed by high-profile brands and serious results. * No red tape. No corporate layers. Just smart people doing good work fast. * A company aiming to swing big in the next 24 months — whether that means a great acquisition or going for \$10M+ ARR. 🧩 The fine print (that’s actually exciting): * Timing: If you’re the right fit, we’ll move fast. * Equity: This is a key senior hire — real upside is on the table. * Budget: \~\$5K–\$15K/mo to start, scalable based on ROI. * Team: You’ll start lean, then build the team you need. (We’re hiring for content & partnerships alongside you.) * Culture: Integrity over growth hacks. Quality over vanity. Speed over overthinking. 💬 Final note from the CEO: “I’m the founder, and I’ll work closely with you to make sure you’re empowered and set up to win. I’m here to support, unblock, and co-create in the early stages — then I’ll step back and let you lead. If we find the right rhythm, you’ll have full control over GTM. I want someone who can build WITH me, not just execute what I say.”
