We’re constantly evolving and improving to make sure we are and always will be “Best in Class” ... and we want that for you too!Restaurant365 is seeking an R&D Business Data Analyst with to join our Enterprise Data Analytics team, with a dedicated focus on supporting our Product, Design, and Engineering organization. This role will bridge the gap between centralized data practices and the needs of the R&D teams and their partners (Sales, Success, Support, and Finance). This role combines strong product and engineering analytics expertise with business analyst skills, enabling you to uncover product usage insights, engineering bottlenecks, inform product strategy, and translate business requirements into data solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to R&D and leadership teams.You will partner directly with R&D Leadership & Operations and also serve as the bridge to cross-functional stakeholders outside of R&D (Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive Leadership) to ensure consistent, accurate, and business-aligned reporting across the company.How you'll add value:Product Engineering & Analytics: Analyze large-scale product usage and telemetry data with Ops to uncover adoption trends, engagement drivers, customer experience friction points, and opportunities to optimize; help define KPIs in collaboration with Ops that measure team health, predictability, and delivery effectiveness; build clear metrics for operational readiness, scalability, and security for Infrastructure teams, working closely with Ops to ensure alignment; provide data-driven insights to improve forecasting, roadmap health, and portfolio planning; build and maintain dashboards in Domo that deliver key product KPIs to stakeholders in real time; support predictive models for adoption scoring, retention forecasting, and product stickiness.Business Analysis: Partner with all of R&D and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear analytics deliverables; define KPIs and success criteria for new initiatives; act as a liaison between R&D and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity in requirements and outputs; provide business-focused recommendations by combining data insights with contextual understanding of product strategy and customer needs; work with R&D leaders and finance to do data gathering and analysis in scenarios like business cases for new products, R&D Annual Planning, etc.Cross-Functional Enablement: Act as the bridge between R&D and other cross- functional stakeholder (Sales, Success, Support, Finance, SLT), ensuring operational data drives alignment between product execution/ strategy and business outcomes; deliver analyses that connect product delivery/usage/adoption with revenue, churn, and customer health metrics; collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize data pipelines and ensure analytics scalability; define and enforce data governance and quality standards for PDE reporting; facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder check-ins to align analytics with business priorities; present insights and recommendations to senior leaders in a clear, compelling way that drives decision-making.What you'll need to be successful in this role:Experience: 5–7 years of combined experience in product analytics, business analysis, or related fields in SaaS/technology environments.Technical Skills: Strong SQL and BI (Domo preferred); Python or R experience for advanced analytics is a plus.Business Analysis Skills: Skilled in gathering requirements, writing functional specs, and bridging technical and business teams.Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and deliver actionable insights.Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of SaaS product KPIs (activation, adoption, retention, engagement).Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication skills, capable of translating technical findings into executive-ready recommendations.Collaboration: Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.PREFERREDExperience with process mapping, workflow documentation, or systems analysis.Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing.Exposure to Snowflake, dbt, or modern cloud-based data stacks.Background in project management or Agile methodologies.R365 Team Member Benefits & CompensationThis position has a salary range of $96,160 - $144,240 / year. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
