### About the Role
Our client, is hiring fluent **Spanish–English Medical Interpreters** to provide accurate and confidential **Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)** and **Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)** for Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers.
### Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate **Spanish ↔ English consecutive medical interpretation**.
* Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and patient information.
* Facilitate clear communication between patients, doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff.
* Maintain strict **patient confidentiality, professionalism, and interpreter ethics**.
* Apply cultural awareness and sensitivity during healthcare interactions.
* Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
### Required Qualifications
* **Fluent/native-level Spanish and English**.
* Previous **medical interpretation, healthcare interpretation, or professional translation** experience.
* Strong knowledge of **medical terminology** and healthcare conversations.
* Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain accurate and professional under pressure.
* Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential medical information.
### Technical Requirements
* **Minimum 15 Mbps upload/download internet speed**.
* Reliable **LAN/Ethernet connection**.
* PC/laptop: **5th Generation processor or higher + minimum 8 GB RAM**.
* **USB headset — mandatory**.
* HD webcam.
* Quiet, professional workspace suitable for confidential calls.
### Pay, Training & Onboarding
* **$5/hour** for interpretation services.
* Paid monthly via **Payoneer only**.
* Mandatory **80-hour training program over 10 business days**.
* Training begins **late August 2026**.
* Training is paid at **50% of the agreed hourly rate**, subject to passing the assessment and subsequently starting work.
* **Attendance and QA bonuses** are available.
* Final assessment will be conducted through **LanguageStat**.
* Successful candidates receive client portal credentials and platform training.
* **No leave during the first month**, except approved emergencies.
