As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions. You enjoy solving hard problems and are willing to go deep on a variety of technical subjects for which there is no expert. You embrace the unknown and strive to understand and experiment with your solutions. Quality enables speed, so you continuously produce well-tested, modular, and readable code. You’re a member of a team and value feedback from peers.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications using Elixir and TypeScript.Contribute to both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and optimal user experience.Participate in the design and architecture discussions, providing valuable insights and suggestions.Lead the development of small-medium sized features.Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality, security, and architecture of the software.Practice unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.Debug and troubleshoot issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process when appropriate.Collaborate with product and customer support to address any software-related inquiries or issues.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not required).5+ years of professional experience in software development.Willingness to explore various blockchain technologies.Familiarity with functional programming.Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated and passionate about learning new technologies and industry trends.
