Responsibilities and deliverables


At Train Them AI, we build first-person video datasets used to train humanoid robots and computer vision models. We have approximately 200 active remote contractors across Latin America, and we are scaling significantly over the next 90 days. We are hiring one Remote Operations Manager to help us coordinate and grow that team. Role Overview: - Contractor role on our operations side. - You are responsible for the growth, health, and productivity of a regional segment of our remote contractor workforce. - Responsibilities include onboarding new contractors, supervising their workflow, and resolving day-to-day issues. Key Responsibilities: - Operations and team management: Onboard new contractors, supervise active members, ensure productivity, escalate technical or workflow issues, and run light retention. - Team capacity planning: Identify when the regional segment needs to be expanded and coordinate the onboarding pipeline accordingly. - Reporting: Track team-level KPIs (active contractors, hours produced, attrition) and surface insights to the founder. - Async communication: Most coordination happens in Slack with the founder and other operations managers. What We Provide: - A segment dashboard to track contractor analytics, their productivity, and your performance metrics in real time. - Recording app, contractor FAQ, and onboarding guides. - Internal Slack with the founder and other operations managers. - Constant support from staff. Candidate Profile: - You have personally managed a remote team, BPO segment, online community, or distributed workforce of 20 or more active people. - You can scan a candidate profile and decide fit quickly. - You can self-manage and work fully asynchronously. - Fluent English. - Spanish is a plus, not a requirement. Compensation: - Contractor role. - Compensation is performance-based in USD, paid twice a month on the 5th and 20th. - Specific structure is discussed with shortlisted candidates by direct message once initial fit is confirmed. Location and Eligibility: - 100% remote. - Open to applicants in Latin America, Southeast Asia (excluding India), Eastern Europe, North America, and Oceania.
