Requirements and responsibilities


Requirements: ✅ Be based in Medellín or willing to relocate. ✅ 4 years of professional experience as a UX designer/researcher (at least 2 years of leading UX teams). ✅ Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices - you’re always looking to improve your process. ✅ Ability to lead multiple parallel engagements while maintaining high-quality standards. ✅ Experience mentoring designers across many disciplines and taking the lead on projects. ✅ Ability to influence others to set and achieve outcomes and deadlines. ✅ Solid written and verbal communication skills to present a strong rationale for design decisions. ✅ Experience working with enterprise software and with design systems. ✅ UX portfolio. Responsibilities: ✨ Lead the project from the front and is responsible for delivering high-quality engagement outcomes with the help of a team of designers and researchers. ✨ Plan and contribute to workshops to understand the user and business problems, goals, and outcomes. ✨ Drive ongoing interactions with product managers, the engineering team, and other key stakeholders to design wonderful and delightful experiences. ✨ Define and manage scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. ✨ Relentlessly inspire, guide, and mentor the team to deliver high-quality outcomes. ✨ Critique design work and provide insightful, constructive feedback. ✨ Collaborate with other leads in the organization to ensure alignment on design best practices, processes, and methodologies. ✨ This role requires travel depending on business needs, potentially up to 10% of the time.
